Elite Esthetics Program Description

Course I introduces students to the TSII facility, policies, and procedures; the industry’s history,
current practice, and general philosophy; treatment room protocol; and beginning lab skills.

Course II teaches the basics of esthetics as well as library and research skills. Initial facial skills
are taught in the lab.

Course III lays a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and skin disorders and
diseases. Students are introduced to TSII’s featured skin care line and learn skills in the lab.

Course IV introduces the use of electricity and various facial machines; also, the importance of
nutrition, and the benefits and opportunities associated with make-up expertise.

Course V involves final preparations for a successful career, including good communication,
leadership skills, and a well-written resume; but the majority of student time is spent in the spa.

Course VI is a stand-alone course; limited at the beginning and gradually expanding until it
occupies the majority of the student’s time. Students perform a wide variety of services on
paying clients, demonstrating competency in the skills required of a professional esthetician.
